Even truer! I couldn't agree more.

I got some recordings done on Sunday. I had a perfect take. I was literally thinking, "I've nailed it! I can stop now and get the rest of the Sunday back! That never happens!"

Unfortunately, when I checked the audio recorder, it was like "PHANTOM: ON -- Are you sure?"

Gah! I hadn't even pressed record.

Hopefully I can salvage a recording.

Well, you’ve done it once (given a perfect performance) so that means you can do it again!

I haven’t r recorded my piece since before my jury, so I need to get on that… 😬

navindra Oh no, I feel your pain! 🙁 That has happened to me and probably many others on this forum too, it's very common and can feel like technology is conspiring against you.

On one occasion I had my Chromebook set to "photo" instead of "video" - so annoying! Another time I accidentally pressed the "mute" icon on the built in recorder. 🙄 I'm sure I'll probably find more ways to screw up the recording process as time goes on. The possibilities must be infinite.

Ugh, happened to me too many times when I thought I was recording a video of a family member's performance, only to realize too late that I took a photo instead....

I've narrowed it down to two takes, so I think I'll have something. The timing this week is quite tough with competing duties.

Ok I think I have a usable recording! Whew. I’ll try to get it uploaded to YT today and then… move on to torturing the record button with something else I’m working on! 😃

I'm in! Double whew! Got my video uploaded to YT and filled out the lovely template. Thank you @navindra for making this so easy and seamless! 🙂

Another thing that made it easier was getting into the habit of uploading piano videos straight from my phone to YT. (Before, I uploaded to laptop first and somehow that extra step was such a pain in the rear!)
