Yes, there are some nasty people over there, however, I think it's just human nature. You can find nasty people everywhere. I used to get into heated discussions on forums until I decided it's just not worth the stress. If I don't like the topic or it seems useless to me, I just skip over and don't read or comment. There are people on that site who complain about needless post that doesn't interest them, so then why are they reading it and commenting?
There's a lot of nice people there, too. And as this site grows, so will the varied types of people. Which is why it needs some level of moderation.
